OUR STORY

Established in 1997, Huston Graphics is the result of Luke's passion for Graphic Design and Lisa's background in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations & advertising. What started as Luke's workplace during his Bachelor's at the University of Northern Colorado became the shared dream of a business ownership journey for the couple.
Rooted in a strong work ethic instilled by their hardworking parents, Luke and Lisa prioritize exceptional service and quality at Huston Graphics. The company's ethos revolves around choosing quality over expedience.
The journey wasn't without challenges. In 2008, an EF-3 tornado leveled their building, leading to a year-long reconstruction process. Despite adversities, the couple's commitment to overcoming challenges only strengthened.
At the core of Huston Graphics is a commitment reflected in their care for every order, client relationship, and team member. With over a decade of working with FR clothing, this dedication extends beyond working hours, showcasing their unwavering focus on client satisfaction.
Luke's 25 years of expertise in graphic design, screen printing, embroidery, and laser engraving, combined with Lisa's diverse background in service industries and sales, bring unique skills to the table. Lisa, fully committed to Huston Graphics since 2013, oversees orders from inception to delivery, ensuring quality customer experiences. Huston Graphics embodies a story of determination, resilience, and a shared vision that continues to thrive in the world of design and printing.

PROTECTION IN HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS
FR clothing is essential for protecting individuals in environments with constant risks of fire, heat, or related hazards
Prevents Burns
These garments are designed to resist ignition, reducing the risk of burns when exposed to flames or high heat.
Prevents Melting & Dripping
Unlike regular clothing that might melt onto the skin, FR clothing is engineered not to melt or drip, reducing the severity of potential injuries.
Maintains Structural Integrity
FR clothing preserves gear integrity in extreme heat, enabling prolonged work in such conditions.
Limits Injuries
By providing a protective layer between the wearer's skin and the heat source, fire-resistant clothing can significantly lower the risk of severe burns or injuries in hazardous environments.
Minimizes Heat Transfer
In certain professions where exposure to extreme heat is common, fire-resistant clothing helps maintain the integrity of the gear, allowing individuals to work in these conditions for longer periods.
HOW IT WORKS
FR clothing protects against high temperatures, preventing ignition, melting, or worsening burns. It is crucial for workers in the energy industry facing hazards like flash fires, electric arcs, intense heat, or chemical exposure.
Insulation
FR clothing acts as an insulating barrier between the heat source and the skin. This slows down the transfer of heat to the body, reducing the risk of burns.
Non-Combustibility
The materials used in FR clothing are engineered not to catch fire easily. They may char or form a protective layer when exposed to flames, preventing direct contact between the skin and the fire.
Reduced Heat Transfer
Unlike regular clothing, which might ignite or melt, FR materials are designed to resist such reactions. They prevent the clothing from melting onto the skin, minimizing the risk of severe burns.
No Dripping or Melting
FR clothing is designed not to drip or melt onto the skin, reducing the severity of burns and injuries that might occur due to melting synthetic fibers.
